The Sleeping Beauty, Sydney

The Australian Ballet ends its 2015 season with the world premiere of artistic director David McAllister’s production of Sleeping Beauty. The beloved story of fairies, a prince and a spell-shattering kiss is retold, as Aurora and her suitor dance their way through the rose gardens and Imperial Courts to Tchaikovsky’s score. This production sees the 19th century ballet classic brought into the modern age with sets and costumes by Gabriela Tylesova.
