Fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch claim there is an easy and cheap way of keeping mould at bay.
During the winter months, mould can be a big problem in many homes. The cold weather makes condensation more likely to form on windows, which creates the damp conditions for mould to thrive.
However, according to fans of Instagram influencer Sophie Hinchliffe, people can use a trick which will stop mould from appearing in their home all together.

Mirror Online reports how cleaning enthusiasts claim that placing small bowls of salt on windowsills will soak up the moisture before it can become a mould breeding ground.
The method was revealed after a woman asked the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips group on Facebook for any hacks and tricks for preventing mould from coming back.
She posted: "I have just discovered black mould on my window seals in the bedroom. I try to ventilate the room as often as I can but it just makes the room too cold and I have a baby. Does anyone have any good tips to try and remove mould as well as prevent it from coming back? I've tried various different hacks now."
Members of the group were quick to offer their advice with several people recommending she put salt on her windowsills.
One person posted: "Try putting some bowls of salt on the windowsill, it will help with the moisture and is pretty cheap too."
Another person replied: "I agree, the salt trick works a treat but don't leave it out if you have pets or children who may eat it. You will also need to tackle the mould itself, try Astonish Mould & Mildew."
A third person added: "If the problem isn't too bad, I would recommend using salt or buying a salt lamp. If the problem is worse, it’ll need to be tackled properly, looking at window installation or a mould product."
Mrs Hinch fans suggested using Astonish's Mould & Mildew spray to get rid of mould that's already present on windows, before switching to the salt method. The spray costs as little as £1.
It was suggested that people use 100g of salt per window. Asda's table salt costs just 65p for a 750g tub. This means it costs less than 9p per use.
