The RHOLDN Reunion Is Coming Up & There’s A Lot Of English Brekky Tea We Need Spilled
The inaugural season of The Real Housewives Of London is wrapping up and these queens have served their nation splendidly by quenching our thirst with piping hot tea episode after episode.
From snarky dentists to hellish sprinter vans and a poor Lord left on the pavement (justice for Sir Henry, please), these ladies are quickly joining the ranks of reality TV royalty.
With so much tea spilt, the reunion is sure to be pushed to the limit, so here are all the best fights, false apologies, and fashion faux-pas we need comedy queen Katherine Ryan to dig up and dish out.
The dentistry dilemma
Ahhh, episode one was a simpler time.
This particular fight featured Panthea Parker (remember that name, she’ll come up again) coming for Juliet Mayhew (our Aussie queen known here on as Juliet M) over a six-year-old’s dentistry dispute.
Raising a glass at Amanda Cronin’s Champagne and Caviar International Women’s Day function — AKA my dream night out, Panthea blames Juliet for taking their dentist friend’s side during an Instagram fight over her son’s fillings. She also accuses Juliet of wearing borrowed clothes before calling her a liar and running out of the party. Quite an eventful welcome toast, if you ask me.
While this beef seemed to be squashed in episode two, the tension reared its head once more in the season finale, so I’m hopeful Katherine helps the ladies delve a little deeper. For a dentist to decay a relationship like this, there has to be something more there.
Will we see Amanda & Juliet A reunited?
Now this is the biggie. In one corner, we have “the most private person on the planet”, Amanda. In the other, the fiery late addition Juliet Angus (hereafter known as Juliet A).
For background, the two met at a car rally of all places and, depending on who you ask, they became close friends. But when a mutual friend betrayed Amanda, she blamed Juliet A and cut her off. Years later, they still hadn’t spoken… until now.
Amidst a tense picnic and the infamous trip to Scotland — side note, the invitations were delivered on a rhyming scroll and accompanied by a bagpipe because these housewives do nothing in halves — the tension between Amanda and Juliet A was palpable.
Though the war was momentarily interrupted by the bravest waiter in the Bravo universe (I’ll never forget you king), one was called a “white witch”, the other a “washed up influencer” and, by episode nine, we reached Paddington-ageddon where these two divas had their final showdown.
After a short attempt at reconciliation, Amanda commands Juliet to go “back to Paddington”, describing the affluent suburb as a “rat-infested swamp”, and the two go toe-to-toe, almost turning brunch into an all-out brawl.
Despite pressing pause in the season finale at Panthea’s birthday party, the action between these two seems far from over. So, will we ever see a resolution? It seems unlikely, but only the reunion and Katherine Ryan can tell.
Will the Scottish fallouts be repaired?
Not only did Scotland see Amanda and Juliet A descend into chaos, but Panthea also had issues with Amanda as the two went head-to-head.
Gossip was thrown around like grenades, so here are the key claims we need Katherine Ryan to clear up if these two are ever to move on.
Is Pathea a swinger, like Amanda said? Has Amanda had a job since her modelling days, which Panthea seems to find hard to believe?
And while we’re at it, can she find out if Juliet M ever said it was her castle off camera? I can’t say I expected to care so much about castle ownership but, alas, here we are.
Of course, this has hardly scratched the surface. We still need to see Karen and Panthea put their fight to bed, Juliet M to find resolution with the women over the £400 ($820 AUD) margarita bill, and if “neutral Nessie” had any beef to squash at all (that girl was basically Switzerland this season).
Katherine, it’s in your hands now but until then — God save our queens.
