The PGA Tour is using drones to follow golf shots like this one from Rory McIlroy and it’s so cool

Do you know how there are things in life that you don’t know you need until you have them? And then, once you have them, you never want to experience life without those things again?

Yeah, that’s what this drone footage of Rory McIlroy hitting a golf ball is for me.

The PGA tour is using drones to follow the shots that golfers are taking at the Genisis Invitational tournament this weekend and the footage is absolutely incredible. It literally follows the ball through its entirety in the air from the launch to its apex to its landing.

This is just beautiful.

Wow, man. Use this for every golf tournament ever from now on. Every single one. Could you imagine this on a Bryson DeChambeau drive? My goodness. That would be epic.

Fans are begging for more of this.
