The only pub in a West Lothian village is set to reopen following a £400,000 revamp to transform the venue.
The Tally Ho in Winchburgh, near Broxburn, has been invested in by Heineken-owned Star Pubs & Bars, and will open their doors 2 August.
The pub will be run by family trio Trevor and Yvonne Spence, alongside their son Aidan, who is a trained chef.
The revamp has opened up The Tally Ho to let to make it more contemporary and stylish whilst retaining its traditional feel.
New bi-fold doors open onto a stunning terrace with a retractable roof and sides so that customers can now enjoy year-round alfresco eating and drinking, whatever the weather.
With few places to eat out in or around Winchburgh, food will be served all day and cover all occasions.
The Tally Ho will serve breakfast and brunch, barista-quality coffee and cakes, traditional pub grub and specials.
There were also be an extensive selection of drinks on offer, including craft ales, premium spirits, cocktails and prosecco, plus an excellent selection of wines.
Yvonne said: “It has been our dream to have our own pub one day and, when our local became available, we felt it was ‘now or never’.
"We want The Tally Ho to appeal to all and cater for families. We’ve overhauled the pub from top to bottom."
