The One Show's Alex Jones gets the giggles as she calls Gethin Jones Ironman

The One Show hosts Alex Jones and Gethin Jones were left in fits of giggles during a segment on tonight's (Monday, March 13) episode which saw Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell give Gethin tips ahead of his upcoming dance-a-thon for Comic Relief and promote her new book, Move Yourself Happy.

Regular The One Show host Gethin, who also hosts The Morning Live, will be taking on his 'Gethin Keeps Dancing' challenge with an epic 24 hour dance-a-thon this Thursday, March 16 in aid of Comic Relief - and along the way will be spurred on by a host of familiar faces, including Dianne's. But before the she imparted her wisdom onto the 45-year-old from Cardiff, viewers saw Gethin and Alex - who share a surname but are not related - chuckling amongst themselves as Dianne encouraged them and the viewers to enjoy exercising, which is the main objective of her book.

"My main objective here is for people to actually enjoy what [exercise] they're doing. I don't want you to think about it as 'Oh, I've got to do this today' and 'I've got to work out'," she said. "Working out... it should be joyful, we should enjoy what we're doing¬ We have this mental attitude towards working out that it's not fun. And we don't enjoy it."

After hearing this, viewers saw Alex, who hails from Ammanford, cracking up with laughter before composing herself and saying to Dianne: "You've got two ends of the spectrum here..."

Gethin interupted her by saying: "That's you. She's talking to you!"

Alex continued: "You've got Ironman here, and then me. I don't do much, Dianne. What would you say... is it 10 minutes a day, 20 minutes? How much do I need to be doing?"

Later in the interview, Dianne gave Gethin some advice on how to successfully complete his dance-a-thon challenge, which Alex called "mad".

"Well, make sure you stretch before and after, enjoy yourself," she said.

Alex chimed in: "Don't pull anything at your age, now," which once again, sent the Welsh star into fits of laughter.

The One Show airs at 7pm on BBC1 on weekdays.
