These are the Nottingham Forest fixtures that will be hit by the coronavirus suspension

Nottingham Forest have seen their season suspended due to the coronavirus after a decision was taken by the EFL.

The EFL board held an emergency meeting this morning in response to the COVID-19 outbreak and agreed there will be no more matches until April 3, at the earliest.

Forest’s campaign would therefore be due to resume on April 4, after the international break, when they would head to arch-rivals Derby County.

Another board meeting is scheduled for next week, after which it is said “a further update on these plans” will be given.

Forest were originally due to face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough last Saturday, but that game will now not go ahead.

The Reds have two other matches which have now officially been postponed, with a double-header at the City Ground against Huddersfield Town and Bristol City now called off.

Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis announced earlier this week that he had contracted the illness - although tests on the first-team squad and staff all came back negative.

Marinakis is joined by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi are two of the most high-profile names to contract the illness.
