‘The Nothing Bundt Cake method’: Amazon driver shares how delivery drivers can get Nothing Bundt Cakes for free

Many customers leave out little treats for their Amazon delivery drivers, but did you know companies treat drivers, too? That’s what one Amazon driver is saying about bakery Nothing Bundt Cakes.

In a viral video, TikToker PackageSlanger (@packageslanger) says he’ll teach other drivers the “Nothing Bundt Cakes method.” He states that it works best when you actually have a package to deliver to the store, but if you don’t, that’s not a problem. Just grab any package, walk into the store, and ask for the suite number, pretending you simply got the location of your delivery wrong.

“Hello, is this—oh no, I think this is the wrong—is this B?” PackageSlinger asks a worker after walking into the store.

“No, we’re 160,” the worker responds. The TikToker then asks for water. As a worker goes off to get it, he asks another worker behind the counter how she’s doing. She responds that she’s doing well and asks the TikToker if he’d like a free cake.

“I will. Does it have to be a certain one?” he asks, before looking down and smirking at the camera. The worker tells him he’s free to choose and he picks Snickerdoodle. “Thank you so much,” he says, wishing the worker a good day on his way out.

PackageSlanger notes that while he’s not opposed to paying for cake, “Every time I come here they give me a free cake, so why not?”

Is it Nothing Bundt Cakes policy to give Amazon drivers free cake?

The Mary Sue was unable to find any company policy that explicitly states that Amazon drivers get free cake. Perhaps the workers at PackageSlanger’s location are particularly nice or, as one commenter put it, the TikToker “charmed them right out that lil Bundt cake.”

Does Crumbl offer delivery drivers free cookies?

In the comments section, one viewer said, “Crumbl employee, yes we offer ALL our drivers (fedex, ups, sysco, cintas and even if they come fix something for us) ‘shift cookies’ !!”

Another echoed, “I worked at crumbl and would ALWAYS offer delivery people a free cookie!”

While Crumbl offers free cookies to its employees, The Mary Sue could not find any policy specifically stating that delivery drivers for other companies may receive free cookies.

Is there a way to get free Nothing Bundt Cakes or Crumbl if I’m not a delivery driver?

Both companies offer rewards programs that let customers earn free dessert.

If you join the Nothing Bundt Cakes eClub, you get a free Bundtlet on your birthday. The other loyalty program is the Bundtastic Rewards.

According to the company website, “Bundtastic Rewards is our free loyalty program available in the Nothing Bundt Cakes app where you earn points toward rewards, such as free and discounted cake or other rewards. Members get 10 points for every $1 spent on cake and retail purchases, gift cards and delivery. Members also get a free individual Bundtlet on their birthday, as well as benefits such as Member Happy Hours and Member Appreciation Days.”

Crumbl Rewards offers “a world of free menu items and exclusive perks.” Users who reach the Silver tier receive a voucher for a free cookie on their birthday and can vote for flavors to appear in their local shops.
