The new yoga retreat on top of a mountain with probably the best views in Wales

Wales is full of gorgeous scenery that you can enjoy in many ways - from hiking up mountains to kayaking along rivers and wild swimming in the sea. Now you can enjoy stunning mountain views while relaxing and building your fitness with yoga.

Mountain Yoga has opened in Taffs Wells on the outskirts of Cardiff with breathtaking views of the mountain scenery. With both an indoor and outdoor studio, meaning the Welsh weather will not stop any classes, this is the perfect location to relax and enjoy yoga.

Opening on Monday, June, 27 there are yoga classes every day from beginners' classes, for those who are new to yoga, to Hatha Flow classes, where the focus is on the careful execution and individual benefits of the yoga postures. Other classes available include strength and mobility classes, rocket yoga, and much more.

Classes cost £15 and there are also different memberships. The silver membership is £50 per month, allowing customers to attend five classes a month, and the gold membership for £75 per month allows unlimited classes a month.

There are indoor and outdoor studios (Mountain Yoga)

Mountain Yoga says those taking part in the classes will hear the birds, rushing water and the sound of their own breath, which is how it is believed yoga should be. You can keep up to date with the latest What's On news by signing up to the newsletter here.

There are four locations on site, the full address is Ty Rhiw Farm, Beechwood Road, Taffs Well, Cardiff, CF15 7SD. Alongside the under-cover Open View Studio, a glass-fronted yoga studio with amazing views of Garth Mountain, and the Studio Decking there are also Waterfall Platforms in the woodland and Hillside Platforms.

The whole glass front of the Open View Studio can open up, letting the fresh air flood in and help rejuvenate customers. You can book classes on the Mountain Yoga website.
