The Masked Dancer reveals what celebs will be disguised as in new series

The Masked Dancer, spin-off to hit show The Masked Singer, is coming back for a second series, and it's now been revealed exactly what some of the celebrities taking part will be disguised as. The cast of characters has been announced, and they're as wacky and outlandish as you can expect.

Everyone's favourite TV show they never expected to enjoy, The Masked Dancer has a rather simple premise. A total of 12 new celebrity guests will complete routines whilst kitted out in disguises in front of a star panel, who must try to guess who's behind the totally extravagant outfit.

Airing this autumn, with comedian Joel Dommett, who grew up just outside of Bristol, hosting the series again, former England footballer Peter Crouch is a new addition to the all-star panel. Joining him are returning panellists Strictly Come Dancing star, Oti Mabuse, and presenters Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall.

The bizarre yet bingeable entertainment show will be back for series two with a new range of questionable disguises. Celebrities will be disguised as the likes of a cactus, tomato sauce... and a pair of scissors.

Joining the plants, condiments and utensils on the show will be the imaginatively named Sea Slug, Pearly King, Odd Socks, Onomatopoeia and Prawn Cocktail. The new series will also see the first ever Masked Dancer duo, Pillar and Post, where one celeb will be wrapped in letters, and another dressed as a post box.

Olympic gymnast, Louis Smith, disguised as character, Carwash, won series one of The Masked Dancer. Stars such as Take That's Howard Donald and actress Tamzin Outhwaite competed in the first series' line-up.

Series two is expected to bring an equally all-star cast. The Masked Dancer will air this autumn.
