The Masked Dancer guest judge John Bishop admits he is 'struggling to cope' on show

John Bishop has joined The Masked Dancer this evening as a guest panelist.

Joining the regular panel of Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, John has also been trying to work out the famous faces behind the masks.

But it all seemed to get a bit much for John.

After the first act, Carwash, performed, John said: "I'm struggling to cope, I've been here five minutes and that's enough for my brain".

Later in the show he added: "I haven't been out in a year and I come out to this and the world's gone mad."

Funny as ever, he also suggested the Zip was astronaut Tim Peak - because a zip is similar to velcro, and velcro works well in space because there's no gravity.

Co-panellist Jonathan Ross said: "I'm in the presence of a master... but you're wrong". Before suggesting the Zip could be Dominic Cummins because he "kept his mouth zipped" and famously went for an eye tests (and the Zip wears huge glasses).

So far Dita Von Teese, Louise Redknapp and Jordan Banjo have previously been unmasked.

Ms Von Teese said she "loved" the secrecy surrounding The Masked Dancer.

"It was truly top secret," she said. "This was one of my favourite parts of being on the show. I loved wearing the disguise... the DON'T TALK TO ME sweatshirt, the blackout visor and trainers.

"I also enjoyed not having to put on my glam every day, I kind of enjoyed being make-up-free under the disguise. But it was torture not knowing who the others were.

"And it was hard not to be able to talk while on set. I really wanted to be able to chat with the dancing carrots and onions supporting me through the dance number."

*The Masked Dancer continues at 7:30pm on ITV tomorrow
