From a Good Friday chippy tea to gorging on chocolate eggs, Easter is a pretty gluttonous celebration all round.
Nowhere more so than at Northern Quarter restaurant Yard & Coop, which has added some outrageous specials to its menu for the bank holiday weekend.
Not to be outdone by KFC, the buttermilk fried chicken specialist has launched its own hot cross bun burger.
Sandwiched inside the spiced, currant-studded bun are two buttermilk fried chicken thighs, bacon, fried onions, adobo mayo and a fried egg - with a Cadbury Creme Egg garnish topping it all off.

It's not clear whether the skewered confectionery is supposed to be eaten at the same time as the burger or saved for pud.
The special is available now and will be on sale until Monday April 22, priced at £14.
The Edge Street restaurant is also bringing back its deep-fried Creme Eggs this Easter, in case the fondant-filled chocolates weren't quite indulgent enough already.
The chocolate treats are rolled in beaten egg and flour before being battered and dunked in the deep fat fryer, giving them a crispy shell and a gooey, melted chocolate and fondant centre.
They're on sale now priced at £3 each and will also be available until Monday April 22.
Yard & Coop has been running an Easter egg hunt across the city centre, hiding chocolate eggs with gift vouchers in and teasing clues on their social media channels.
