On 13th April 2023, peacefully at the R D & E Hospital, Exeter, Diane, aged 78 years, of Torrington and formerly of Caerphilly. Beloved and devoted wife of Peter, loving mum of Gareth and Stewart and a dear grandma of Rhys, Emilie and Charlotte. Funeral Service at the North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple on Friday 12th May at 12.20 pm. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu if desired for FiG (Families in Grief) may be made at the service or sent to R Gist & Son, 18 Castle Street, Torrington, EX38 8EZ.

Jean Harris (née Richards)

(née Richards) Peacefully on 29th April at Ty Eirin Care Home, Tonyrefail, Jean, aged 94 years, of Hillside, Llanharan. Dearly loved Wife of Leighton, much loved Mother of Cheryl, Mother-in-law of the late Brian, loving Gran of Gareth and Clair, Geraint and Kim and Nia. Funeral, Thursday 18th May. Service at Carmel Baptist Church, Llanharan at 2:15pm followed by cremation at Coity Chapel, Coychurch Crematorium, Bridgend at 3.15pm. Brynmor Hollywell

We are sorry to announce the sad news that Brynmor Hollywell passed away peacefully on Friday 14th April in hospital with wife Gay and children Paul & Ceri at his bedside. He had been suffering from covid and he had a weakened heart. He always said how fortunate he felt to have a good life with an amazing supportive wife, he was always family-focussed, and was proud of his children and grandchildren. We will miss him. The funeral will be held at Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium on Friday 5 May at 14.45. All Bryn's friends are welcome to attend and there will be a wake afterwards at The Green Lady, Pontygwindy Rd, Caerphilly. No flowers please, if anyone wishes to give in his memory, we have nominated Save the Children (which he had previously led collections for) and collection buckets will be made available at the funeral. Please wear either royal blue (for Everton) or red (for Labour) to the funeral.

Jacqueline (Jackie) Huish (Evans)

(Evans) (Jackie) Born on the 9th May 1933 , passed peacefully on Sunday 16th April 2023. Cremation at Glyntaff Crematorium on Wednesday 17th May at 11.15am followed by a friends and family gathering in celebration of her life at the Rhondda Heritage Park Hotel Porth.

Philip Nash

01/05/1948 - 22/04/2023 Passed away peacefully at his home. Much loved husband to Carol Nash and sons, Andrew and Christopher. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Funeral to take place on Thursday 11th May at Glyntaff Crematorium at 3:00pm. The reception will be at the Ship Inn after the funeral.

George James Passfield

(Formerly of Romford, Essex, Cardiff, South Wales and Ottery St Mary, Devon) George passed away peacefully aged 93 at Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport on April 23rd 2023. Former RAF Aircraftman and Electrical Engineer, George was beloved husband of the late Barbara, and loving father of Richard and Colin from his first marriage to the late Patricia. He will be missed by his family, his granddaughters and his friends in East Devon. A short service will take place at Glyntaf Crematorium, Pontypridd at 10.30am on Thursday May 11th 2023.

Sheila Stevens

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 20th April, Sheila of Wind Street, Laleston; beloved wife of the late Melville, devoted mother of Marilyn and Patrick, a cherished grandmother and dearly loved great-grandmother. Funeral on Wednesday 10th May. Service at St. David's Church, Laleston at 1:15 p.m. Followed by cremation at Coychurch Crematorium, at 2:15 p.m. Family flowers only. Margaret Swift (nee Rees)

(nee Rees) After a short illness, Margaret of Danygraig, Porthcawl (originally of St John St, Ogmore Vale), aged 93 years passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Bill and devoted mother to Ceri and the late Kim, much loved mother-in-law to the late Colin, cherished nan of Ria and Laura, favourite aunty and dear friend to many. Funeral service at Coychurch Crematorium, Bridgend, on Wednesday 10th May 2023 at 1.15pm.
