- Depending on the model, discounts vary from $3,000 to $7,000.
- There's more standard equipment than before.
- The High-Output Hurricane Twin Turbo inline-six engine is bumped to 540 hp and 521 lb-ft.
Last month, Jeep slashed Grand Cherokee prices by up to $4,000. Should you want one of the four Wagoneer models, the discounts are even higher. Depending on the version you go for, pricing has been lowered by $3,000 to as much as $7,000. To lure in more buyers, some of the previously optional goodies are now standard across the range. Oh, and there’s more power, too.
Starting with the Wagoneer and Wagoneer L models, the two SUVs now have 20-inch wheels as standard. Even the base trim levels get adaptive cruise control and active lane management without having to pay extra. Power-folding mirrors are now available with the 2025 model year changeover.

Step up to a Grand Wagoneer or a Grand Wagoneer L and the front passenger has a memory seat and their own separate screen in the dashboard. Elsewhere, the two SUVs feature traffic sign recognition, drowsy driver detection, and intersection collision assist. Both models now have 22-inch wheels as standard.
For 2025, Jeep is tweaking the twin-turbo “Hurricane” engine by upping power to 540 hp and 521 lb-ft to match the latest Ram 1500. The 3.0-liter inline-six now pumps out an extra 30 hp and 21 lb-ft than before. That's still 10 hp less than the new Charger Sixpack H.O. offered with a 550-hp version of the same six-cylinder gas engine.
It’s a rare opportunity to talk about a vehicle that gets cheaper with the new model year. It’s usually the other way around. Typically, automakers apply price cuts when sales are low, but the Wagoneer is up 79% this year through September while demand for the Grand Wagoneer has jumped by 25%. With additional standard kit and extra power, Jeep wants to maintain the sales momentum. The four Wagoneer gas flavors were recently joined by the confusingly named fully electric Wagoneer S.
