The infamous shower scenes have already started on I'm A Celebrity 2019

The swimwear-clad showers on I’m A Celebrity have already started on the new series.

The show, which has been going since 2002, has seen many iconic moments throughout the years.

But while the bushtucker trials change every year, the famous shower scenes have been stalwarts in the series.

Former England pro James Haskell was the first person to use the shower on Monday night’s show – with Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway saying it was like he was “in a Diet Coke ad”.

James then shouted as the cold water was poured over him by the other contestants.

“I was first in the shower this morning. Brisk, is what I would describe it as,” he said later.

Former decathlon champ Caitlyn Jenner then stepped inside, and said afterwards: “We started with big James, getting it in there, and honestly it looked so good everybody decided we needed to.”

She added: “It was just so refreshing.”

Caitlyn found her first night in the jungle very difficult and began questioning if she should have come on the show.

She said “Being the first night in the jungle my head was spinning. I’m kinda trying to figure out if I’m doing the right thing.

“I’m 70 years old now and is being in here the right way to use my time. Should I be home with my kids, playing with the grandchildren? I’ve never quit at anything I’ve ever done and I’m thinking maybe it’s time I learned how to do that.”

But Caitlyn later on decided to stick with the programme and said: “The day has started, I have the hat on, lets get it on.”

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! continues Tuesday 19 November at 9pm on ITV
