He's been an Arsenal favourite for over six years but Nacho Monreal's time in north London has come to an end.
The 33-year-old has completed a permanent move to Real Sociedad after penning a two-year deal with the Spanish side.
After 250 appearances for the Gunners it's no surprise that the Spaniard leaves with huge respect from everyone associated with the club, including Arsenal legend Ian Wright.
The former forward took to social media after Monreal's exit with a message thanking the star for his service.
He said: "All the best Nacho Monreal. Total professional who always gave 100%. Six consistent seasons at the top."
While the news of Nacho Monreal's exit is a blow for the Gunners, it's set to pave the way for the likes of Kieran Tierney.
The former Celtic defender moved to the Emirates Stadium this summer but is yet to make an appearance after suffering a groin injury while with the Scottish champions.
Tierney is undergoing on-field rehabilitation and it's thought that he could be fit to return next month.
