Near to the end of the film Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Cameron Frye (played by Alan Ruck), stomps on the hood of his father's prized Ferrari in a fit of rage, and then watches helplessly as the convertible crashes through a glass wall and plummets into the forest below. If you own a sports car, you could now re-enact Cameron's rage in that same cantilevered garage. The house, known as The Rose House and Pavilion, a 5,300 sq ft home in the woods of Highland Park, just north of Chicago, went on the market last week and can be yours for just $1.65m, which is nearly £1.1m. Bargain.
