The Heartbreak High Cast Spill The Tea On Season 3 & What The Show Means For Them

Season three of Heartbreak High is fast approaching, and the cast — who brought their signature Gen Z style to the often musty Logies red carpet — just aren’t ready to say goodbye.

I mean, who can blame them? Since the remake’s inception in 2022, it’s since captivated the hearts of young and old alike, hailed as an Aussie coming of age drama like no other.

I chatted to the cast at the 2025 TV Week Logies at The Star, Sydney, and asked how they’re really feeling about what’s to come. Proceed at your own risk — juicy goss to follow.

For Ayesha Madon, who plays Amerie, a show as transformational as Heartbreak High ending is bittersweet, to say the least.

“The show has completely changed my life. It’s a show that I shot with my best friends, and it was the most monumental thing of my life so far,” she told PEDESTRIAN.TV on the Logies red carpet.

Being a person of colour in Australia can make it really hard to see yourself in a leading role. These people let me be that, and it’s completely changed the way that I view myself. It’s changed my confidence.”

For Chloé Hayden, who plays Quinni, the idea of starting a new chapter is not only bittersweet — it’s pretty terrifying, too.

Heartbreak High has changed me in literally every single way a person can be changed. I know that if I had a Quinni growing up, my whole life would have changed,” said Chloé.

“I get probably 100 messages a day from people saying they got their diagnosis because of Quinni, or that they were able to start work because they felt more confident in who they were. Quinni has changed the game for autistic people, and it’s so exciting to be a part of that.”

In terms of what’s in store for season three, Bryn Chapman Parish, who plays Spider, dishes that you’ll want to have the tissues on standby.

“Season three is going to be great. It’s beautiful because it’s a goodbye from the top of the show, and it feels really cohesive, and everyone’s performances are just amazing. It’s going to make everyone cry. A lot,” he says.

You heard it here first. Prep those tissues and get ready for season three of Heartbreak High, which is anticipated to hit Netflix later this year.
