The Greatest Dancer judges on their feet as Sunderland's Elite Dance Juniors wow them

For the second time in a few weeks, Sunderland dancers have made quite an impression on The Greatest Dancer, earning a standing ovation from the judges.

Following in the footsteps of Joseph Chow and Lily Straughn, who had Cheryl in tears with their emotional audition a few weeks ago and are now in her final three, fellow Wearside dancers Elite Dance Juniors left the Geordie judge very impressed with their audition, which was a high energy and highly-skilled routine to a medley of Motown classics.

Cheryl and fellow judges Matthew Morrison, Oti Mabuse and Todrick Hall were all on their feet after the studio audience's votes opened the mirror for the girls, meaning they got to perform in front of the panel and the packed crowd.

The girls, all aged 7-11, are taught by Jessica Hall and it was her mam Audrey who took the girls into the Greatest Dancer reception where they kept new receptionist highly entertained before their fabulous audition which you can watch in the above video, taken from BBC.

Giving her critique, Cheryl praised the girls for their high kicks and tricks, before adding they "made her proud to be from the North East" and saying one of the girls reminded her of herself as a youngster, when of course she was a talented dancer.

After the girls had left the stage, Oti said they could be "unstoppable" and they got a great reaction from viewers on social media too. One fan tweeted "Yellow pocket rockets... flexible , bendable energetic body moves , very impressive, fantastic, sassy performance," and another reacted "so cute."

Among the other people who tweeted about the girls were St Anthony's School in Sunderland, Jessica's former school, who wrote "We are excited to see if the mirrors will open."
