The Forge Monke Business Quest Guide
At the time of writing, this badge is one of the rarest achievements in the entire game. Only about 4.6% of players have completed it, placing it firmly in the Insane rarity tier. To finish this quest, you’ll need to overcome two obstacles. The first is simply finding Monke's location. He’s essentially a secret NPC, tucked away far off the usual paths in the game.
The second part is actually completing his quest, fittingly called Monke Need Bananite. The first step is easy once you know where to look, because finding his location is the real trick. The second step, however, can be extremely grindy and much harder to finish. Let’s break down how to complete both parts and earn the Monke Business Badge.
Where to Find Monke in The Forge
The Forge Monke NPC can be found on the second island, the Forgotten Kingdom. He’s hiding on a small, isolated islet just behind the spawn point in the Forgotten Kingdom hub. Here’s how to get there, step by step.
- Teleport to the Forgotten Kingdom.
- From the spawn point, turn away from the hub.
- Walk onto the dock right behind the spawn area.
- While facing the sea, look to your right, towards the SW direction.
- You’ll spot two islets: a small one and a larger one.
- Swim toward the smaller islet, the one that sits a bit farther out in the water.
- Climb onto it and head to the opposite side, the one facing the open sea.
- Monke will be there, just sitting and chilling.

How to Find Bananite for Monke
As mentioned earlier, finding Monke is actually the easy part. The little guy is so hungry he’s ready to eat a literal rock. Sure, the rock is called Bananite and looks like a banana, but at the end of the day, it’s still a rock. I guess he’s craving minerals. Anyway, to finish the quest and earn the Monke Business achievement, you’ll need to bring him 30 Bananite. That’s a lot of Bananite.
You can mine Bananite on the first island, Stonewake’s Cross. Head into the cave there and focus on mining rocks and boulders. They’re the only nodes with a chance to drop Bananite. It’s an Uncommon ore, and the drop rate is 1 in 30, meaning you’ll get one roughly every thirty ores you mine on average. It’s not as rare as some higher-tier ores, but farming enough to reach 30 Bananite can still take a fair bit of time.
The Forge Monke Business FAQ
If you want to speed things up, drink a few Luck Potions and equip Miner Shard runes on your pickaxe. Both of these will increase your chances of finding Bananite much faster.
These two responses will appear as dialogue options, but regardless of which one you pick, Monke will still require all 30 Bananite. So no, you can’t just bring him 1 or 5.
