THE FINALS ranked system and rewards, explained

Much like other competitive FPS games, THE FINALS encompasses its competitive spirit in a ranked mode. Play through the Ranked Cashout tournaments to gain a league rank and show off your skill to everyone in the arena.

Here’s everything you need to know about ranks and ranked modes in THE FINALS.

Ranked Cashout is the core ranked mode of THE FINALS. Every Ranked Cashout consists of eight teams, divided into two groups, that battle each other over two Knockout Rounds. To progress through the tournament, you must be in the top two teams of the match. The Final Round is a one-on-one battle between the remaining two teams.

The Ranked Cashout follows the regular Cashout gameplay. Open Vaults to claim Cashboxes, deliver them to the Cashout stations, and make sure nobody steals them. Alternatively, you can try to steal other players’ Cashboxes.

There are a few key differences when it comes to Ranked Cashout rules:

  • Earn additional cash by eliminating opponents, opening Vaults, or making deposits (except for the final round)
  • Lose 15 percent cash on team wipe (except for the final round)
  • No gameshow events
  • No in-round item swapping from Reserve loadout
  • If a team deposits a second Cashbox into an active Cashout, they must own it at completion or lose part of their cash (aka Double Jeopardy)
  • Limited respawn credits

If you want to enter the competition and fight for your rank, you must unlock Ranked Casout by completing a minimum of 60 rounds. You can do that by playing casual game modes around the World Tour.

Ranked Leagues are ranks in THE FINALS that follow a familiar format if you played other competitive games. You must first complete four placement matches to get your initial rank. After that, win matches and earn a Rank Score (RS) to progress through the leagues. The amount you earn or lose depends on your final position in the tournament, your team’s RS relative to the teams you played against, and your individual performance.

By reaching higher Ranked Leagues, you can earn permanent league rewards that include weapon skins, stickers, and charms. These items are granted to players who reach each ranked threshold at the end of a competitive season.

Ranked Cashout is a place to prove yourself and show off in front of every THE FINALS contestant. Familiarize yourself with all the builds in THE FINALS (Light, Medium, and Heavy), their weapons, and equipment to find the perfect loadout for you.

Focus on playing with your team and securing Cashboxes. Communicate with teammates, as respawns aren’t unlimited here. If you feel your aim is lacking, spend some time at the Practice Range or on third-party training apps. Even a simple warmup can do wonders for your performance in Ranked.
