Why I recommend the Dyson V15 Detect above all others, especially with this huge $250 discount
The way that this cordless vacuum illuminates dust and debris particles is next-level. It's almost alarming how much you'll realize is on your floors without knowing, and what's more, the green laser shows that with one pass, the V15 Detect has picked up every speck.
This is partly owed to the vacuum's relentless suction, which matches the cleaning power of the huge, corded vacuums. But also thanks to two specialized floorheads, one for carpets and one for hard floors, meaning that every surface is given the most effective treatment.
I tested the V15 Detect in a local cat and dog shelter, and no matter what surface I was cleaning – entrance mats, thick rugs, stairs, furniture – it picked up every strand of hair effortlessly, without tangling around the brushroll. It's one of our best vacuums for pet hair for a reason.
And to top it off, it's lightweight, weighing just 6.38lbs, and it automatically senses the floor you're vacuuming and how dirty it is, meaning it automatically adjusts the suction to the right levels.
