For the first time in 27 years The Cure are set to perform in front of a Glasgow crowd.
When it was announced Robert Smith and co. were due to play at Bellahouston Park, tickets were snapped up in an instant, with fans hoping to see the legendary rockers perform the likes of 'Friday I'm in Love', 'Just Like Heaven' and 'Lovesong' in the south of our city.
Meanwhile, The Cure will also be supported by the excellent Mogwai and Twilight Sad, who will be warming up for the Post-Punk stars.
We've put together the following list, detailing everything you need to know about this evening's big Glasgow gig.
Where is it?
Summer Sessions takes place at Bellahouston Park, in the south of the city, just south of the M8 motorway and Paisley Road West.
What will the weather be like?
As it stands, you're in luck, gig-goers! That's because in spite of a slightly soggy morning and afternoon, the sun is expected to peek from behind the clouds from 6pm onwards. There might be a spot of rain in the evening but it looks a little bit brighter than this morning, according to the forecast.
Obviously, being Glasgow and all, the weather is very much subject to change and you'd be best placed checking the Met Office weather forecast HERE, shortly before heading to Bellahouston Park.

How to get there and back
For those who don’t live in Glasgow, Glasgow Summer Sessions have a partnership with Happy Bus, a coach service specifically for festival travel that have coaches going from nearly every Scottish town and even a few cities in England.

They will also be putting on shuttle buses from the city centre to Bellahouston Park before and after the event.
If you’re coming by train you can get off at Dumbreck station, which is a 15 minute walk away.
Bus numbers 9, 9A, 10 and 38 all drop off and pick up from Paisley Road West and this journey takes about 22 minutes with the last bus leaving at 12.25am.
If you would prefer to bring the car, there’s parking available on a first come, first served basis and it’ll set you back £5 for an all day ticket.
There will also be a pick up and drop off area in the Albion Car Park across from Ibrox Stadium at G51 2XD.
If you want something a little different, you could always take the Number 75 National Cycle Route.
Just to be aware, these events often have queuing systems at the train stations afterwards to keep order, so if you plan on going to Dumbreck station, get there in plenty of time and be patient. Scotrail have recommended leaving the gig as soon as the last act finishes, buying your ticket beforehand and to download to app to make sure you get home quickly and safely.
However if you’re in no rush, or worst case scenario you’re stranded, don’t worry, you’re not completely in the middle of nowhere. Even though the last thing you want to do after a sweaty festival is a walking trip, Bellahouston Park is approximate a 50 minutes walk from the city centre, and Glasgow Summer Sessions have said this route will be sign posted and stewarded.
And finally, Glasgow Taxis have been made aware of the high volumes of people.
