The Crown's Princess Diana and Prince William actors share a laugh as they film new scenes

Upcoming scenes in Netflix hit The Crown will see Princess Diana and son William sell the Big Issue magazine.

Actors Elizabeth Debicki and Rufus Kampa have been snapped in blue vests and holding buckets as they film for season 6, the show's last outing.

In photos taken out in Canary Wharf, London, Elizabeth looks elegant in a long camel coat and matching jumper, a skirt and brown leather boots. Her hair is cut to match Diana's sleek short do and she wears elegant gold earrings.

She is seen holding a Big Issue bucket, and a polystyrene cup, while in another, she and Ed stand with an actor playing a Big Issue seller outside an underground station, as a crowd gathers around them.

Another photo sees the Elizabeth and Rufus listen to the Big Issue seller, who is holding copies of the magazine, which supports homeless people.

In June, The Prince of Wales spoke about how his mother took him on a homeless shelter visit when he was 11.

Writing in The Big Issue, the royal said he was inspired to take up homelessness as a cause, and raise its profile.

That month William took to the streets to sell copies of the magazine, sold by the homeless and long-term unemployed.

The last series of The Crown, based on real-life events connected to the British Royal Family, will see the aftermath of Princess Diana's death and Prince William's student years at St Andrews University.

Earlier this month, Ed McVey, who plays and older William and Kate Middleton actor Meg Bellamy were pictured filming in Scotland, possibly capturing the first time William saw his future wife.

The pictures show Ed as Prince William looking back at brunette Kate as she runs past the man she will one day go on to marry and share three children with.

The upcoming series sparked controversy ahead of premiering, due to reports actress Elizabeth Debicki lies in a coffin when filming scenes following Diana's on-screen death for the show.

Although no official details about the sixth and final series of the drama have been confirmed, it's reported Dominic West's version of Prince Charles - now King Charles - will be distraught after seeing the body of his former wife.

"They actually made Elizabeth climb into a coffin and play dead as Diana. Viewers will see a French priest administering the last rites for Diana as she is pronounced deceased," one onlooker on set told The Sun.

"Prince Charles enters the room and is in floods of tears. In his hysteria he notices that Diana is missing an earring. It is all he can focus on as grief envelops him."

The episodes covering the aftermath of Diana's 1997 car crash in paris will also show a fictional version of the heartbreaking moment young Prince William and Prince Harry walked behind their mother's coffin.
