The classic Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk celebration you may have missed against Chelsea

Robert Firmino scored Liverpool's second goal in the Reds' 2-1 win over Chelsea and the Brazilian had planned a special celebration with teammate Virgil Van Dijk.

After meeting Andrew Robertson's cross in the 30th minute, the striker ran over to where the TV camera was stationed and called the defender over to him.

The pair then impersonated a training ground pose Robertson had been captured doing two weeks earlier.

The Scottish full-back was photographed tensing his muscles in an exaggerative manner while stood next to a shirtless Mohammed Salah.

Robertson was clearly having a joke at his own expense as he shared the picture on his Instagram account with the caption: "He's lucky I kept my top on #puthis6packtoshame".

The post clearly amused Firmino and Van Dijk who did their best impression of the hulk-like pose.

Liverpool's official twitter account also got in on the joke, posting a video of the striker's celebration with a follow-up tweet saying: "We thought this looked familiar..."

Firmino has a reputation for notable celebrations and accused teammate Sadio Mane of copying him in the UEFA Super Cup in August.

The Senegalese posted a picture of his sweeping hands gesture on his Instagram page after the game and Firmino commented asking his teammate to stop copying him.

The Brazilian will likely have more routines planned for the rest of the season if his goal-scoring form continues.
