The Chase star Mark 'The Beast' Labbett slams 'snowflake' Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan finally met his match in Mark Labbett on Good Morning Britain on Monday.

Mark, who is better known as The Beast, branded the TV presenter, 54, a "snowflake" after he failed to do well when the GMB cast appeared on the ITV game show.

He admitted that it was "harder" than he thought it was going to be after he only managed to get three questions right.

Mark told him: "Well Susanna [Reid] managed it well enough. Susanna got seven and you got three.

"I'm heartbroken you've molded yourself as the epitome of English manliness for years, who deals with princes and presidents.

"Then you you absolutely cracked like the snowflake you are."

But Piers wasn't going to take that jibe lying down.

He said: "I would never have used the phrase 'English manliness' because I'm Irish so that is another factual error I'm afraid."

Mark, 53, recently revealed that he is back with his wife Katie, 26, after she cheated on him.

Speaking on Loose Women, he said that they were "working their way through a rough patch".

This comes four months after Katie said that they had split and that she was with metal worker Scott Bate, 28.

The couple, who have one son, decided to go their separate ways after images emerged showing Katie on a date with Scott in May.

Mark explained: "Like a lot of relationships, you go through a rough patch. We’re working our way through it.

"A newspaper offered us a sum of money and we kindly denied. We're quite private, there's no pictures of our son online and I'm not going to name him until he's old enough to make the decision."
