The Chase spells out something funny with contestants' names but it causes row

The Chase viewers spotted something hilarious with the contestant's names on tonight's show.

The cheeky producers combined the names of the players in a certain way so they spelled out something amazing.

The line-up included Dylan, 21, bartender, Bob, 73, retired operations controller, Taylor, 18, business and Spanish student, James, 44, bathroom designer.

When they were put together, James, Taylor, Bob, Dylan, it spelled out the names of two famous singers.

The Chaser was the first person to point out that there was a musical theme with the names James Taylor and Bob Dylan.

Bradley Walsh has burning question after The Chase contestant's sexual innuendo

On their official Twitter account, The Chase tweeted: "James, Taylor. Bob, Dylan. Hmm. Nothing suspicious about those names. They just seem like nice 'folks.'"

Speaking on the show, the Dark Destroyer said: "I see you’ve got a music theme today. James Taylor and Bob Dylan. Four music legends."

Presenter Bradley Walsh was a bit confused and pointed out that there were only two music stars.

Explaining what he meant, Shaun Wallace revealed that two of the legends were in the studio.

The Chaser replied: "No. James Taylor, Bob Dylan, you and yours truly of course."

There was a bit of awkward laughter - and later on the pair were embroiled in a row.

Bradley insisted that his name had not been mentioned, but The Chaser argued he had.

Brad added: "You know what, after these conversations, I haven't got a clue who anybody is. cCaught in the twilight zone of your brain."

"Funny with the names James Taylor and Bob Dylan but still not as good as Tom, Dick, Ann, Harry #thechase #itv," added another.

A third said: "So they've decided to form music artist names out of the contestant names today !"

"The production team for #TheChase must have a right laugh looking through the applications," said a fourth.
