The Chase host Bradley Walsh has 'huge six figure salary' leaked in cheeky Richard Osman tweet

ITV quiz show The Chase was left in 'chaos' after rival gameshow host Richard Osman "leaked" Bradley Walsh's huge salary in a social media post.

Richard, 51, made a cheeky jibe at at Bradley's wage while tweeting about Manchester City’s new signing of Norwegian football player Erling Haaland.

The football signing, including agents and sign-on-fee for the player are thought to be around £34million, meaning he is likely to be on a similar deal to teammate Kevin De Bruyne who banks around £375,000.

However, it was this large sum which prompted the Pointless host to compare it to Bradley's staggering wage, he said: “£375,000 a week. Wow. Haaland is on, what we call in the business ‘Bradley Walsh money.’"

Fans of the show were quick to appreciate the cheeky dig to the rival show host, with the iconic quiz shows known for being rivals since their arrival on our screens in 2009, writes OK! Magazine.

In response to the tweet, Mark Labett AKA The Beast jokingly shot back at Osman as he tweeted: "If you are trying to stir things up in Chase land, you have succeeded :).”

Although it isn’t actually known how much The Chase stars earn, its safe to say the stars are well compensated for their role on the show.

Chaser Mark is estimated to have a net-worth of around £1.4m, with his co-star Shaun Wallace (The Destroyer) estimated to hold over three times as much at around £5m.

Fellow chaser Anne Hegerty was also estimated to hold a net-worth of £2.8m, with Jenny Ryan and Paul Sinha are thought to be worth £2.8m and £1m respectively.

Bradley Walsh, however is the highest earner of the bunch, with The Daily Mail reporting last year that the iconic presenter’s net worth was in the region of £20 million.
