The Chase fans giggle at 'total smut' as Bradley Walsh asks very rude question

The Chase host Bradley Walsh desperately tried to stifle his giggles as he was forced to read out some very cheeky phrases on Friday's show.

He was in the final round with the contestants and Mark Labbett AKA The Beast, when he nearly lost his composure.

Sassy contestant Scarlett even chastised him for being immature and ordered him to "behave".

The question was: "Which of these is NOT a common piece of plumbing terminology?"

The answers were A) Blow bag, B) Fiddleback and C) Flange bushing.

"I've heard of flange," said contestant Eddie, as Bradley grinned and pulled a face at the camera.

"You don't want to be going fiddleback while you've got the old flange bushing that's for sure," Bradley said, leading to Scarlett tutting: "Bradley behave yourself."

As Bradley and Eddie mulled over the answers, viewers took to Twitter to share their love of the rude answers.

"I need to grow up but these answers made me giggle," wrote one.

"Flange bushing" and now "Schwing!" Total smut on #TheChase today," giggled another.

"Flange bushing from carry on chaser," joked a third.

"Three different people tweeted "flange bushing", accompanied with a gif of Kenneth Williams!" pointed out a fourth.

Meanwhile, Scarlett humiliated Bradley and Mark when was asked a question about a Carry On film, which were popular in the 1950s-70s and starred actors including Barbara Windsor.

Bradley and Mark then began quoting famous lines from the comedies, but Scarlett was unimpressed to say the least.

Bradley asked the question: "Harry H. Corbett made his only Carry On appearance in what film?"

Mark replied: "The options were Carry On Spying, Carry On Sergeant, and Carry On Screaming!, with the latter being correct.

"That really did fall perfectly for me, he played what was it, Inspector Knocker of the Yard?"

"Inspector Knocker, yeah, Fenella Fielding, Kenny Williams," Bradley reminisced.

"Kenneth Williams came up with that great line, 'Frying tonight!' his last words," added Mark.

Turning to Scarlett, Bradley explained: "Carry On films.

"I'm sure it was funny at the time," she quipped.

Bradley burst out laughing and high-fived her as the other contestants giggled.

"Good for you! Very good!" Bradley chuckled.
