The BT Sport decision that will delight Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham fans

Whole this season's Champions and Europa League campaigns remain in jeopardy, BT Sport have come up with a temporary solution for filling the void.

Classic matches from years gone by, along with ties from last season, in a newly launched show 'Throwbacks' that kicks off tonight with Tottenham Hotspur's quarter final match with Manchester City.

Alongside showing matches in their entirety, the programme will also feature a topical debate on the game's ongoing areas of interest. Participants in the shape of Jake BT regulars Rio Ferdinand and Robbie Savage will also be on hand to answer questions asked of them by fans over social media.

Other games to be repeated this week include Manchester United's 2019 quarter final with Barcelona and Arsenal's 2019 Europa League quarter final with Napoli..

Episodes of 'Throwbacks' will be presented by either Jake Humphrey and Matt Smith and will be broadcast throughout this week from 8pm on BT Sport 2.

Elsewhere, highlights of other classic European matches involving Premier League outfits will be shown on BT Sport 3.

Tonight, the channel will show Liverpool's penalty shoot-out victory over AC Milan from 2005, Wednesday focuses on Man Utd's 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in 1999 while Thursday and Friday will be on Chelsea's two Champions League finals from 2008 and 2012.
