It might seem a little bit counterintuitive, but it is not so common to see actual Hall of Famers in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame when they are not on-site for some sort of special event regarding their or their peers’ time in the league.
But it was not all that long ago there actually was a Hall of Famer in the Hoops Hall — in fact, there were two of them touring the bastion of basketball lore live and in the flesh. They also happened to be alumni of the Boston Celtics, namely Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.
