The best gifts given to NFL offensive linemen in 2022, ranked

The NFL tradition we love to see is back once again for 2022: quarterbacks and — sometimes — running backs thanking their offensive lines for all the hard work protecting them and blocking for them by handing out some seriously expensive gifts during the holiday season.

So it’s time for our annual tradition that comes with it: we rank the gifts based on awesomeness (last year, Kyler Murray won with the golf bags and club fitting he gave out). With Christmas Day approaching, it seems like a good time to roll out the rankings.

Let’s rank at the stuff we saw the O-lines get in 2022:

7
Jamaal Williams, Detroit Lions

Dude scored a ton of touchdowns this season, so gave out custom robes. These are super cool!

6
Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley, New York Giants

Custom suits are always a good gift.

5
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Louis Vuitton bags AND Jordan 11s! Really solid haul.

4
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

You know we love golf clubs and custom bags!

3
Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

A play on that holiday party game where you pick presents, I guess? Because he got a bunch of different gifts, and then had linemen pick. From MLive.com:

What do you get for the men in your life who have given you everything they got?

In Jared Goff’s case, everything from luxury bags and watches to even an ATV.

“I did a combination of things I’ve heard about, things I’ve done in the past, kind of did one of everything,” Goff told MLive after practice on Wednesday.

The quarterback lavishing gifts on his offensive line is a time-honored tradition this time of year, although with the Lions’ offensive line playing better than ever — and Goff enjoying his best season in ages because of it — he went all out this season. He chose a sampler platter of luxury gifts, and the linemen got to make their pick based on seniority.

Left tackle Taylor Decker, the longest-tenured player on the team, drafted Louis Vuitton bags with the first overall pick. Center Frank Ragnow went with a Polaris ATV at No. 2, while left guard Jonah Jackson grabbed a Breitling Superocean watch. Retail price: $5,000.

WOW.

Zach Wilson, New York Jets
