There are serious booze bargains in Dublin Airport's duty free when flying to the UK or other destinations outside of the EU.

However, it's not a free for all for Irish shoppers as they are limited to bringing back just one litre of spirits.

And for wine and beer, a person is allowed to buy 4 litres of wine and 16 litres of beer.

It comes as Dublin Airport passengers have been advised to arrive three and a half hours early due to delays in getting through security.

The delays, which are down to staff shortages after many workers were let go in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, have persisted sine St Patrick's Day.

Dublin Airport has been ranked as one of Europe's most stressful airports after coming under fire for massive delays leading to chaotic scenes.

Ireland's busiest airport ranks number two after London's Heathrow Airport, despite having significantly fewer annual passengers.
