The Aldi and Lidl specials hitting shelves in stores across Ireland this week

Aldi and Lidl are famous for their middle aisle products, and this week both are dropping some handy bits ahead of the summer months.

While most retail remains closed amid level 5 restrictions, the demand for both retail grocers’ special buys is higher than ever.

So here’s what’s on special in both this week:

Lidl

With summer fast approaching, Lidl picked the perfect time to launch a huge range of tools to help get your garden in shape for the better weather ahead.

Among the new products is a table circular saw for just €129.99, a paddle mixer for €39.99, and a 65W tool sharpening station for €22.99.

From today, Lidl has also launched a new range of children’s pajamas and bedding, as well as the new Cien gold skincare line.

On Thursday, April 15, Aldi will have a number of ‘Special Buys’ hitting the shelves.

Among their latest drop is everything you could possibly need if you’re a new or experienced cyclist.

There’s a range of cycle clothing for men and women, as well as handy puncture kits, specialised sunglasses, rucksacks, and rain jackets.

If gardening is more your thing, a number of ‘Irish grown’ potted plants will also be sold from Thursday, April 15.

Supplies are limited across all Irish stores.
