The 5 Fastest Cars in Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 is chock full of beautiful locations, challenging tracks, and a gigantic roster of cars. People play Forza for different reasons — some like collecting JDM cars, others play it to unwind while listening to music, and many enjoy it because they like going fast. That last aspect is the most basic, but arguably the most important one for an arcade racer.

Thankfully, the game is full of vehicles that allow you to push every track to the limit. Whether you’re trying to set a new record on a speed trap or dominate a highway race, the feeling of pure, unadulterated speed is always within reach. Here are the five fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5 that can help you chase that thrill.

Koenigsegg Jesko

The Koenigsegg Jesko is the fastest car in Forza Horizon 5, no matter what way you look at it. Even just looking at the stock numbers, without any tuning, the Jesko is capable of nearly 300 MPH. But with the right tuning setup, you can reach speeds in excess of that 300 MPH mark with ease.

The Jesko is powered by a monstrous 5.0L twin-turbo V8 with 1600 horsepower, meaning the acceleration is perfect. Built for winning almost every race, the Jesko has a rating of 10 in terms of speed. It takes corners at terrifying speeds that would send lesser supercars flying off the track.

For inexperienced players, it can be a handful to drive, simply because most people won’t be used to driving something this fast. Another drawback is that it gets so dominant at times that it can be boring. That’s how fast it is.

Hennesssey Venom F5

The Venom F5 is built with one idea in mind: brute force. This beastly car packs a 6.6L twin-turbo V8 that delivers 1,817 horsepower, making it a rocket in a straight line. With the stock tune, it is capable of pushing beyond 280 MPH with ease. On some highway tracks, it gets scarily close to the Jesko because of the edge it has in acceleration. If the Jesko in front of you makes the tiniest mistake, you can easily snatch a win.

The handling and braking are strong with this one, even stronger than the Jesko on paper. It has a handling rating of 9.6, which is much higher than the Jesko’s 6.3. It’s an excellent choice if you want a car that’s blisteringly fast, but one that feels like you’re always the one in control. If you also happen to be a big fan of overtakes, this is the car for you.

Rimac Nevera

The Rimac Nevera is a major outlier on this list. As it is an electric car, it has instantaneous acceleration as the motor can provide instant maximum torque from a standstill. This means that the Nevera is arguably the fastest car off the line. What it gives up in engine roar and sound, it makes up for in shocking speed.

However, it can be a very shaky car to drive. It has an impressive 9.4 speed rating, but the braking and handling ratings are both very low. This makes it an extremely hard car to master. With that said, it is capable of churning out speeds in excess of 290 MPH, and well over 300 with the right tune. In terms of pure raw speed, it can sometimes beat the Venom F5 and come close to the Jesko. I say “sometimes” because it is hard to handle, and when it does beat those two cars, you know a very experienced player is at the wheel.

Koenigsegg Agera RS

The Agera RS is the second car from Koenigsegg on this list, which should be no surprise coming from a brand that exclusively makes hypercars. The Agera RS is a phenomenal all-around performer, and the 5.0L twin-turbo V8 is capable of pumping out speeds of up to 280 MPH. Again, with the right tune, you’re looking at an excess of 300 MPH.

This car can easily hang with the Jesko and Venom F5 on the highway, especially if you have the right tune. However, like every Koenigsegg car in the game, the handling is hard to master. These cars have an enormous amount of power and require good throttle control because of the RWD drive setup. You can’t just hold down the right trigger and forget about it. This is why so many people just use them for speed traps, danger signs, and sometimes drag racing.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Forza Editon

The Lamborghini Sesto FE is one of the more special cars in the game because of its unique status. It can be found in the Forzathon shop when it is featured in the weekly or daily rotation, through Wheelspins, and the Auction house. The Forza Edition means this is a pre-turned variant of the Sesto.

However, it’s worth mentioning that this isn’t a car built for over 300 MPH on the highway or drag strip. You can certainly tune it to be that way, but the car’s essence is to take corners faster than any other vehicle in the game. It has a launch rating of 10, meaning it is extremely fast off the line in every race. The handling rating is 6.5, but that’s a surprisingly harsh rating once you realize how good this car is at taking tight corners.
