The 21 best kits in FIFA 23

Soccer kits are big business. Even the biggest names in fashion want in on ‘kit culture’, and fans have enjoyed huge streetwear collabs (including one named in this season’s list, below) in recent seasons.

In FIFA 23, choosing the home and away kits for your FIFA Ultimate Team can be a tricky choice. You’ve got to make sure your kits don’t match color-wise so you don’t get stuck with a kit clash in-game, but do you want two completely different styles? Kits which match? The same brand manufacturer? A club and country set? The choice is yours.

With so much to choose from, we’ve compiled a list of the freshest, boldest and smartest kits available in-game.

In no particular order, the best kits in FIFA 23….

Norwich Home

A stunner from Joma for Norwich. Green pinstripes highlight the classic canary yellow kit. The retro V-neck and cuffs are very cool; even the sponsor, British sports car brand Lotus, looks perfectly in place. If Norwich win promotion back to the Premier League in this kit, we won’t be surprised.

Arsenal Away

Clean black, subtle patterning and bronze highlights. Without a doubt one of the best Premier League kits this season from Adidas for the Gunners, with the 3D AFC print pattern. Arsenal Women are also making their debut in FIFA 23 with the integration of the Women’s Super League, so you can rock the kit for both teams. The retro cannon logo is the cherry on the cake.

Arsenal Third

So nice we’ve named them twice. Arsenal are flying high this Premier League season and they’ve got the kits to match. Their third strip, in case of kit clashes, is an eye-catching pink color with navy and blue highlights. Oh, to be an Arsenal fan with their 22/23 kits.

Athletic Club Away

A graffiti-style lion print covers this black and red strip; a tribute to the proud fans of the Basque-region club. The design is striking, and the full kit is capped off with contrasting red shorts and red socks. As La Liga kits go in 22/23, this is one of the coolest.

Venezia Home

You’ll be forgiven for not knowing who Venezia are, but they have built a cult following in Serie B – partly due to their stunning soccer kits. This season is no different, as the Italians bring another gorgeous black Kappa kit with club color highlights. Venezia’s kits would be a rare find and sell for max bid in FUT 22, and we think in FUT 23 this will be no different.

Coventry City Away

Another hidden gem from the EFL Championship. This purple number harks back to the 90s when Coventry played in the Premier League. The subtle patterning is inspired by Coventry Cathedral, too. Hummel once again showing their knack for local connections.

Ajax x Daily Paper Third

Daily Paper is a Dutch streetwear brand and this collaboration between two Amsterdam icons is awesome. You can always bank on playing against Ajax kits regularly in FIFA 23. The sandy gold shirt celebrates the street soccer arenas of the Dutch capital with nine silhouettes.

PSG Home

Catch this kit on the FIFA 23 cover with ambassador Kylian Mbappé. The Parisian home strip has a central badge and sponsor cutting out of the white stripe. If you get lucky enough to pack Mbappé in FUT, pick up the PSG shirt to make him look at home.

Germany Home

This white and black kit will be worn by the German national team at the upcoming Qatar World Cup. We can expect World Cup content across all game modes in FIFA 23, coming soon.

Southampton Home

More quality from Hummel, who have reimagined the famous Southampton strip in a bold way. Ajax inspired? Possibly. But imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Ajax are the kings of cool.

AC Milan Home

Milan’s red and white stripes are one of the most recognizable kits in world soccer. Puma haven’t messed with the classic look this season, and the Italian tricolore on sleeves adds a slick bit of detail to this jersey.

Mexico Away

Mexican national kits always bring the heat, and in preparation for the men’s World Cup in Qatar, Adidas have dropped this stunner. The off-white color and all over Quetzalcoatl print (the ancient ‘feathered serpent’ God) make this a guaranteed hit with FIFA 23 players when it arrives in-game.

Rayo Vallecano Home

It’s striking! The stand-out red lightning flash across the chest and back, finished off with retro Umbro sleeves. This is cold. Each of Rayo’s three kits is the same, with different colorways, so take your pick.

Manchester United Third

Controversial? A retro, collared template for the MUFC shirts this season is remixed with a color described by Adidas as “semi-solar slime.” Nice. Will they blend into the pitch or stand out? ‘90s styling is the name of the game this season. Comes with a great black GK kit too. United kits are always selling on the FUT market.

LOSC Lille Third

All three Lille kits by New Balance are brilliant this season, but if there’s one thing FUT 23 players love, it’s black kits. Gold logos set this off, but the best part is the tesselating mastiff head pattern repeating down the shirt. So sleek, very French.

Fiorentina Away

A big purple chevron on the front of your white shirt? We’ll take it. Yet another Italian strip makes our list of the best kits in FIFA 23. If you buy Fiorentina’s Kappa away kit IRL, you can even pick up matching Superga trainers

Rangers Home

The pick of the kits in the Scottish Premiership, Castore have delivered a beauty for Rangers this season. This season’s Rangers kit has checkerboard print – which we don’t see enough of in soccer kits – trimmed with white and red collars and cuffs.

Bordeaux Home

Navy with a polo shirt collar. The Bordeaux home kit is almost so smart you could wear it on a night out. Tucked away in Ligue 2, this is a real hidden gem of a kit in FIFA 23.

Bohemian FC Away

Expect to see this Bob Marley tribute kit from the Irish Premier Division side everywhere in FUT 23. Whilst this link might seem random, Bohemian FC hosted Bob Marley’s last ever outdoor gig at their Dublin ground in 1980. Replicas of this shirt are selling out, too.

FC Utrecht Away

Pink tiger stripes cover this Nike strip for Dutch side FC Utrecht. So cool they can even be forgiven for the MASSIVE sponsor logo on the front. Pink kits are the flavor of choice for so many FUT players, we think this is the perfect option for them.

Japan Adidas kit

And one that won’t be in the game, at least until the FIFA Men’s World Cup update is delivered: Japan’s Adidas home kit. Delightful.

The World Cup kicks off on Nov. 20, 2022, so stay tuned for FIFA 23 World Cup Updates.

There are, as always, a few kits that miss the mark. Tottenham’s Nike away kit looks like a bib. Puma’s World Cup away kits are so universally hated, they’ve become a meme before the tournament has even kicked off.

FIFA 23 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
