Primark has recently unveiled their quirky fashion collaboration with Greggs and it looks like one item in particular has all shoppers talking.
In a truly interesting set of events, the fashion retailer and the bakery chain announced they would be teaming up for an 11 piece clothing range that would be available in Primark stores across the country.
It will be the first time in the nation's favourite bakery's 83 year history that fans can wear their love for those iconic sausage rolls and steak bakes literally on their sleeves.
Even more interesting, is that it looks like the collaboration is about to drop what might be the hottest shoes of the season, if social media is to be believed.
The quirky themed trainers will only set you back £16 and they're very on brand for Greggs fans.
Featuring the bakeries signature colour scheme and Greggs logo, the nifty trainers are part of the wider collection which features tops, joggers, socks and much more.
They are the latest eccentric branded trainers to go viral since the iconic £12.99 trainers from Lidl that sold-out almost as soon as they hit store shelves.
The eccentric shoes have gone down quite the storm on social media after one shopper shared a snap of them to the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook.
They captioned the post: "Greggs Trainers - £16 Primark I have no words. From Saturday Primark launches its Primark X Greggs clothing range. These stunning trainers are just one of the 11 pieces that will be on sale!
Be sure to be in line on Saturday morning at your local Primark store to grab these and be the envy of all your friends."
Despite being posted less than a day ago, the snap has caused a stir among shoppers as it has managed to rack up nearly 2,000 likes and over 6,000 comments.
"I'm defo on my way to change my name right away to Gregg to have these in my life. Out with the Yeezies and in with the Cheese & Bean slice carriers", said one enthusiastic shopper.
"I NEED this", said another excited shopper.
A third shopper tagged their friend and commented: "I know how much u love Greggs , how about a pair of these bad boys."
A fourth also tagged their friend and commented: "what size are you? Such a fashion statement, will get em for your 21st! with a sausage roll of course!"
"Gutted my birthday was yesterday or I'd of loved a pair of these", said a fifth.
"Primark AND Gregg's in one piece of awesome fashion footwear! Bet you want some, don't you...", said a sixth.
Quite a few other shoppers couldn't resist making jokes about how well the trainers would go with items from the quirky collections from Lidl and Aldi.
"You can wear lidls trainer on the left and Greggs on the right lol", joked one shopper.
"These will go great with the aldi sliders", said another.
Primark's Greggs branded trainers will be available in the Edinburgh, Glasgow Argyle Street and Aberdeen stores when the full collection drops on Saturday, February 19.
