The £1.2m home for sale on the street which Premier League stars call home

Have you ever dreamed of living it up among the stars?

A million pound home has recently gone on a sale on a street popular among Premier League footballers and other celebrities.

The five-bedroom property is just a stone’s throw away from Victoria Road in Formby, Merseyside, which has been dubbed ‘Millionaire's Row’ due to the number of expensive houses.

On Timms Lane, the home is nestled on its own private plot with a gated entrance and secluded back garden.

The road and its surrounding streets have been home to Liverpool and Everton players and coaching staff, the Liverpool ECHO reports.

While estate agents stay tight-lipped about who exactly lives there, they have previously confirmed that players and management staff have rented on the street.

The home has been designed and built by developers who have more than 40 other local properties in their portfolio.

Described as ‘knowing their craft’, they are renowned for paying ‘great attention to detail’ and ‘recognising quality.’

Given the location and size, the house is listed with Stephanie Macnab for £1,200,000.

According to Rightmove, properties in Freshfield had an average price of £429,461 over the last year.

Most of the sales in the area were detached properties, fetching an average of £484,072. Semi-detached homes were selling for an average of £386,304, with terraced properties going for £279,167.

Overall, sale prices in the last 12 months were 4pc down on the previous year and 1pc up on the 2018 peak of £425,159.

Images on Rightmove show the ground floor of the house is centred around a grand hallway and staircase.

There is an 'elegant' kitchen, dining and lounge area that overlooks the back garden.

However, there is also a separate lounge room and a snug or study for added areas for relaxation.

On the first floor are all five bedrooms, three of which have their own en-suite bathrooms and two which share a Jack and Jill en-suite.

Out front is a gated driveway with plenty of space for several cars to park off road.

While in the back garden is a patio and lawn area, with a gazebo housing a hot tub.

The Stephanie Macnab listing reads: "Are you looking for something special? A contemporary and modern home with sleek lines? Well, look no further, we have just the property for you.

"From the moment you arrive, you will be impressed by the imposing presence of the property, which rests proudly on the plot.

"Timms Lane is a beautiful, tree-lined road in the heart of Freshfield.

"The layout of accommodation has been carefully planned and will suit the needs of a professional couple or family."
