'That's what he wants' - Manchester United fans react to new Cristiano Ronaldo 'attitude' reports

Manchester United fans have been reacting following the latest reports regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's future.

Ronaldo had informed the club at the beginning of pre-season that he wished to leave Old Trafford should a 'reasonable offer' be received. The 37-year-old subsequently missed United's tour of Thailand and Australia due to 'family reasons'.

No bids would come in for Ronaldo during July and the Portuguese ace would play 45 minutes in the Reds' last friendly against Rayo Vallecano. He would be blasted by manager Erik ten Hag after the match, along with other first team players, after they left the Vallecano match before the final whistle.

Nevertheless, the forward would start on Saturday for the first time this season against Brentford. However, the game was a nightmare for all involved as the Bees thrashed United 4-0 in west London.

Sky Sports claimed this afternoon that the Reds could look to 'terminate' the contract of the striker if his 'attitude' does not improve. They claim that United are looking for a 'change in his attitude' in order to avoid this from happening.

However, United have this evening insisted that the report is false and that their position on the player hasn't changed.

On Twitter, United fans have been reacting to these reports and after the saga which has dominated the discourse surrounding Ronaldo this summer, many supporters were left pondering if this would be the right decision or not. Here is what they have had to say.
