Tennessee fans, I get it. It felt like 1998. Rocky Top was back. I may have acted the same way leading up to this game. Or maybe I would have learned from last season, when you all guaranteed a win over Georgia just to lose 41-17.
Well, they did not learn. And though they had more reason to be confident this time around, it was the same result. A beat down from the Georgia Bulldogs.
The Vols were 8-0 and had just been ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings. Well, not anymore.
Now that it’s a done deal and Georgia knocked off No. 1 Tennessee, 27-13, let’s take a look at some tweets from Vols fans that did not age well.
