Tiger Woods, Jupiter Links Get Blown Out By Los Angeles in TGL Championship

Tiger Woods returned to golf on Tuesday night in the TGL finals after not playing since July 2024 at the British Open. And, we definitely saw glimpses of the Woods we know and love.

Unfortunately for Woods, though, his Jupiter Links squad lost heavy handedly to Los Angeles, 9-2, after just 10 holes. Woods competed in all nine of the triples holes, but he didn’t get a chance to compete in the singles matches. L.A. is the official 2026 TGL champion.

The highlight of the night for Woods’s performance was on the sixth hole, cleverly named “The Stinger.” Woods gave the fans what they wanted by delivering a vintage stinger on that hole. His ball speed hit 176 mph, a range that Scottie Scheffler, the No. 1 player in the world, averages. The ball carried 274 yards and went a total distance of 318 yards.

Woods missed a few putts, though, including one that lipped out from just three feet. He gave a brutally honest assessment of his team’s performance after the match, saying they got their “a--“ beat. L.A. finished the night with three consecutive eagles to win the match, and the TGL title.

We tracked all the best moments from the TGL final and Woods’s return to golf. Check it out below.
