Fridays launch BBQ box just in time for summer - and it looks delicious

BBQ season is upon us, and to celebrate sunnier days and the easing of lockdown, Fridays have launched a brand new BBQ Box delivered straight to your door.

Costing just £39, each box feeds a family of four and contains fresh ingredients, all conveniently prepared with simple instructions for you to follow.

If you’re a meat lover, this is the perfect box for you. You’ll find generous portions of mouth-watering, slow-cooked baby back pork ribs, Cumberland & BBQ sausages as well as burgers made using the chain's own special recipes including a blend of prime cuts of brisket & chuck steak from British and Irish farms.

Also included are buns, bacon, cheese slices, salad and a selection of sauces (BBQ sauce, Fridays Legendary Glaze, blue cheese sauce and burger mayo) - so all you have to do is heat the barbie up.

Speaking about the launch of the boxes, Fridays CEO, Robert B. Cook, said: “As lockdown continues to ease, we want to bring that Fridays Feeling to our fans firing up the BBQ to celebrate with their friends and families at home over the Bank Holiday weekend and beyond!

We have made a significant investment in the quality of our meat, which our guests will be able to cook to perfection from home. Each BBQ box contains an accompanying recipe card which includes essential care, preparation and cooking information to give them the full Fridays experience.”

You can order your BBQ box just in time for the May Bank Holiday by visiting the website here. Please note, the first available delivery date will be on Thursday 29th April 2021 and there will be a £6.95 postage charge which will be automatically applied to you basket.

Delivery times are as follows:

  • Order by 2pm on Monday for delivery on Thursday
  • Order by 2pm on Tuesday for delivery on Friday
  • Order by 2pm on Wednesday for delivery on Saturday

If you're looking to upgrade your rusty grill before buying the BBQ box, there are plenty of great options to choose from this year ranging from a Nexgrill gas table top burner to a classic Weber charcoal option - and they come in various shapes and sizes to suit your outdoor space set up.
