Woolworths, C&A, Coopers - these are only a few shops that were once a mainstay in Liverpool.
Over the decades we've said goodbye to more than 50 shops that were once icons in the city centre. It's a byproduct of such a busy and in-demand shopping centre, however many will still have fond memories of these shops that were once such a constant part of everyday life.
Some, like Wade Smith, went on to bigger things, whereas others folded and lost or even changed shape entirely, often moving online and abandoning their physical presence on the high street entirely.
