Tesco has unveiled its festive sandwich range which includes a wrap that will have you drooling with anticipation.
Writing this on a wet and gloomy Monday, it's really sinking in that winter is on the way, but while that will more than likely mean dark days and nights and freezing temperatures it also means Christmas is coming!
With Christmas comes plenty of festive food and Tesco are sharp out of the blocks with their seasonal sandwiches, which will go on sale way before it's time for Santa to take a ride on his sleigh.
From succulent roast turkey and classic sage and onion stuffing wrapped in a giant Yorkshire pudding, to Boxing-Day-inspired turkey curry in a spiced tortilla, this year customers can enjoy Christmas-inspired lunches with a twist on tradition.
But traditionalists need not fear, as Tesco will also be serving the festive flavours of turkey, stuffing and cranberry in its flavoursome Finest Turkey Feast, and a brand-new gammon and piccalilli sandwich that pairs Boxing-Day-inspired gammon with beautifully tangy piccalilli on soft white bread.
With vegan and gluten-free options as well, Tesco say they're confident there’s a sandwich to satisfy all taste-buds this Christmas.
But back to the Christmas dinner Yorkshire Pudding Wrap. Available from hot deli counters at stores nationwide even the wrap's product description has our taste buds well and truly tickled.
It reads "Tidings of comfort and joy are abundant with this fluffy, giant Yorkshire pudding, packed with pulled turkey, sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce, topped off with a rich, smooth gravy.
