A Dublin ice cream shop that often sees queues line the streets for miles is to launch its tasty products in one of Ireland's biggest supermarkets.
Scrumdiddly's ice cream which has locations in Dun Laoghaire and Donabate will be bringing three of its most popular flavours to Tesco shelves.
The big launch which has been teased for days by the ice cream shop begins this Friday when Cookielicious, Melted Cookies and Hazelnut Brownie will be on sale for €4.95 a tub.
In a much awaited announcement on their social media pages, Scrumdiddly's said: "So you’ve waited, you’ve guessed and now the time is here...... drum roll please. Scrumdiddly’s will be hitting the shelves of TESCO this Friday with 3 fantastic flavours of ice cream, secret sauces and scrummy toppings. Everyone deserves a scrummy summer so we’re bringing the happiness to you at home!

"Available in select Tesco Superstores and Tesco Extras Nationwide."
Within minutes there were hundreds of comments, with the popular ice cream parlour confirming several locations including Ballybrack, Dundrum, Rathfarnham and Tallaght.
While excited fans added: "Yay congrats. I know where I will be spending my Friday."
And another added: "The kids will be so happy."
