Tesco shoppers in 'tears' as last-minute Christmas shopping rush causes chaos

In case you needed reminding, Christmas is now just two days away, which can only mean one thing - LAST-MINUTE SHOPPERS ARE OUT IN FULL FORCE. The horror.

Tesco is no exception, as the supermarket has been thrown into absolute chaos by people battling it out to make sure they've got enough pigs in blankets to feed an entire army, and enough mulled wine to fill an ocean.

That said, people have, of course, been made very grumpy by their supermarket shops, and have done the only logical thing to resolve it - they've been voicing their grievances on Twitter.

"Saw raised voices & tears just over which loaf to buy during my time in Tesco, the mind boggles at times," wrote one Twitter user.

Another added: "Popped into Tesco yest and you'd think everything was £1. It was utter chaos. Can only imagine what it'll be like tmoro."

Mike Wyn Davies shared a picture from Tesco in Talbot Green, writing: "Absolute madness at Tesco Talbot Green. You'd think they would have all the check out operating. Crazy."

"We are going to brave @Tesco today, I'm terrified. There are some seriously crazy shoppers out there, who will be buying enough food to survive the apocalypse," said another hesitant shopper.
