With customers expected to splash the cash this festive season, UK supermarkets are seeking to employ nearly 90,000 extra staff to help out.
Brands such as Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Aldi, M&S and Waitrose have recently launched a massive recruitment drive looking for tens of thousands of temporary workers for roles in stores, home delivery services and much more.
Retailers have been facing a number of challenges including supply chain disruption caused by lorry driver shortages and global shipping issues.

Therefore supermarkets are hiring extra team members to ensure shopper demands are being met across the UK - and there are even opportunities for more permanent roles in 2022.
