Tesco has changed its online shopping delivery rules

When the UK first went into lockdown, all of the major UK supermarket chains put new rules and regulations in place.

Following increased customer demand for essential food and drink items, many shops were forced to place item limits on what people were buying.

However, Tesco has now announced that it has made a change to what people can order online.

Tesco had previously set a limit of 80 items for shoppers ordering home deliveries, however the supermarket has now increased that to 85 items.

It might not seem like a huge difference, but the addition of five extra items could prove a massive help to shoppers trying to buy food and essentials for their families. The increased item limit will also benefit those purchasing things for people who are vulnerable or shielding as part of their shop.

The online shopping item limit was originally put in place to ensure shoppers could get as many essentials delivered to their homes as possible.

You can order an online delivery slot or click and collect on the Tesco website.
