Watch: Terry McLaurin puts on the burners for 69-yard touchdown catch in first career NFL game

Former Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Terry McLaurin put on the burners for the Washington Redskins, running away with a 69-yard touchdown in his first NFL game.

McLaurin wasn’t the first Buckeye off the board this past draft, but he is now the first to make his name known at the professional level. With Dwayne Haskins watching from the sidelines, McLauren has already totaled his first career 100-yard performance.

After being quiet for most of the first quarter, McLaurin showcased exactly why he was taken in the early rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft. He hauled in a bomb from Redskins quarterback Case Keenum to put the Redskins up 17-0.

Here’s a look at the play.

McLaurin played four seasons at Ohio State and failed to notch 1,000 yards in any of the four years. But that didn’t impact his potential though as the Redskins, who were in need of a playmaking receiver, and took a risk on him.

Their second Buckeye of the draft, it’s certainly paid off for them early. Hopefully, this is only the start of McLaurin’s professional career.
