Terrified mum sees Spider-Man eerily flying towards her home - but it's hilarious mishap

Every superhero fan dreams of the day when they will get to meet their favourite superhero face-to-face.

But one family was initially terrified when they saw the comic book webslinger flying towards their home - until they realised what was actually going on.

Kelly Hudson was enjoying her son's birthday when she spotted the superhero in action.

The mum-of-three was mystified when she checked the CCTV footage from outside her house and saw Spider-Man appearing to jump towards the camera.

But it turned out to be a balloon the 46-year-old had bought for her son's big day - and the incredible moment delighted her superhero-loving son, Brandon.

The balloon's epic quest started when Spider-Man made a break for it while Kelly's back was turned.

And Brandon was delighted that Spider-Man left their home to save the world, even if it meant he couldn't stay for all of Brandon's 21st birthday celebrations.

Kelly said: “Brandon has Downs Syndrome and Avengers is his life.
